i was an innocent kid... i have a pic of myself i think i was 8-9 years old idk...
i thought of happiness for a moment... i didn't know... that i will find myself here... at the present time..answering this Q
i always said to myself that i would like to be a child for ever.. never change... never have troubles... never think about every damn sh!t that's going on in my life... i grew up fast... at the age of 11 i was thinking about life more... than other kids... while others were actually living it...
i think that one life is not enough.....

i have many things regarded to my life.. but.... it's mine.... it was a time... it's best to live the moment and then stop after a few years and think about it.... and just smile ....

some1 told me that we got this life for free... i haven't reached the point where i actually live it but there is more time... i am 17... i have my entire life ahead... but who knows what's gonna happen..

nice Q.... it made me think about the past again....it is nice.. to see myself again with different eyes.....

if that is me who is that old lady in the mirror? When you are in your sixties pictures of the past make us nostalgic , I long and find myself yearning , not for the times. but for the girl I was. I was young and innocent and lovely. I try not to wallow too often because it is mind bending to go back to places in time that no longer exist. At sixty three there are losses and past traumatic events that still impact on my mind and my emotions. I try to stay in the moment. I hope when and if I reach eighty I will not be that old woman who lives only in the past. The most generous thing the past can do for me is to warn me away.

I had great legs!! The pigtails can go! I wonder if the cat liked the ride on the swing, was I not too heavy for her? I could not see over the snow bank!

Depends on how far back you go. I was a cute baby, and stayed pretty cute until about fifth grade, then had a 5-year really awkward stage, followed by 80's hair and weight gain. Then I lost the weight and looked much better. I guess if it's anything past fifth grade, though, my general reaction would be "Who is that geek and what is she doing in my body?"

What crosses my mind when I see pictures of myself as a young child is how poor we were and how innocent I was from being protected by my Mom and all the neighborhood Moms living in the inner city.

i love tracking down all my family members for pics of me as a kid. I had a wonderful childhood and I just hope my kids feel the same way about theirs. I have allot of copy's of my childhood pictures. When I look at them they remind me of how life was so easy and fun when I know now that it wasn't for my mother for she was a single mom. I also look at my face and go oh my god I haven't changed at all I still look the same. I always wondered how come my family always said I was petrified. I just never really changed the only things that have changed in my looks is that I have an adult face now instead of that innocent look that I see in my kids.

My son.... he looks just like me when I was little. I think of how different my childhood was from the way his is now. He has it soooo much in some ways but in other ways, my parents were together until I was 15... his Father and I haven't been together since he was 2.

I always think "how awesome is my family?", cos in all the pictures i'm smiling and extremely happy - at the beach, being pushed on a swing and so on. If it wasn't for my family I wouldn't have had such a nice childhood, so i'm thankful.

Some photos bring back very nice childhood memories.

But for the most part I think "Where the heck as the time gone?"
