Over ten years ago I was studying religions and reading a book on Christian beliefs that said when the antichrist comes he'll rule the world on an ecological agenda in his name and be hailed as a hero that everyone will turn to to follow. At the time it seemed unfeasable, but I see bizarre echoes in the Live Earth concerts with one announcer stating that Gore's the inspiration for the concerts and the reason we're all watching (I thought Earth was the reason!). Plus what is with the number 7? Is it because a concert on 6th June 06 would be too obvious? The date is 7.7.07 and everyone keeps mentioning 7 - i.e. the B.E.P. emphasised that they got an email reply from Gore "7 days later at 7'o'clock" and that we should all cheer after the band counts 7. There are 7 Gore 'pledges' and the final one is to pledge to "BUY from companies that support the 7 pledges" - it's SO obvious there's a commercial agenda behind Live Earth. More about this below...

In what I read all that time ago the commercial agenda would underlying the antichrist's supposidly nice message, plus it'd also support dependency on modern technology/electronics - Gore's doing this too.

I'm finding it all pretty creepy, because today reminds me too much of what I read in that book years ago about global youth being brainwashed by all this media/star led propoganda, so I'm wondering what everyone else thinks, because what's happening with Gore and his rocket-ride to global respect is suspicious to me - how can an ineffectual politician make an Oscar-winning film and organise global concerts with no previous experience at all in these fields?? He's obviously backed by very powerful people - and there's no way those kind of folks are in it for alturistic reasons! If he's not the antichrist then it's all to do with MONEY MONEY MONEY and GLOBAL POWER!!

I would like to know more about the significance of 7 - so more info on that would be good. I couldn't watch all the Live Earth TV coverage, but it was mentioned and displayed VERY much.

Those saying Gore is just an "idiot", etc, could be right rather than him being the big AC himself, because doesn't the actual AC have someone on Earth like a kind of pawn or 'puppet' who makes a way for all the chaos to happen so the AC can take control?? Perhaps that's Gore?

Just to answer those who choose to insult me rather than attempt to write a proper reply - I don't say ANYWHERE in my question that I personally believe this - I am simply posing the question to discover if anyone does/doesn't and why. All those who choose to reply with insults are very very pea-brained people, and ditto for all those who say "yes he is" or "no he's a good man" without any reasons whatsoever to support their opinion!

Al Gore could be a gross polluter yet i'm no longer confident that he's the antichrist. I do think of that that's particularly exciting that Al Gore lives in a mansion that makes use of over ten situations the quantity of means that the traditional family contributors of four makes use of and he flys private jets that use over a million,000 situations the quantity of fossil gasoline because of the fact the main wasteful SUV. He then has the nerve to tell the rest human beings that we are inflicting international Warming by our meager use of means whilst Al Gore squanders means at an marvelous fee. Then on good of that Al Gore began a company to sell phony tax credit to wealthy liberals so as that they could stay of their great mansions, fly their private jets everywhere and nonetheless sense good approximately themselves for saving our surroundings. Al Gore will make numerous hundred million money from his phony carbon credit company.

The Anti-Christ is somebody who would certainly be connected or in support with the UN's Agenda 21 from the Rio Earth Summit. So you may be looking in the right general direction but don't be rash. there may be other candidates too connected to "New Ageism" (Paganism) and 'Gaia' worship, as demonstrate by a influential "New Age Guru" David Spangler:

"No one will enter the New World Order unless he or she will make a pledge to worship Lucifer. No one will enter the New Age unless he will take a Luciferian Initiation."
- David Spangler, Director of Planetary Initiative, United Nations.

The fact is the NWO believe the Anti-Christ lives but first the world needs to be brought to its knees thru World War (the Clash of Civilizations), famines and epidemics.

BTW Bush is also Luciferian thru the Order Of Skull and Bones at Yale.

Why is it when anyone tries to help someone they are always the butt hole? I think the proof out there in your face and scientifically proved and you still choose to go off and make something out of nothing-there's proof of the warming and hey lets give Bush more $$ for the nuke plants-oh by the way if one goes they all go- check it out, so say 150 mile radius of everything dead is better than warning you of earths comings and how we can help? Maybe use rechargeable that hey one AA rechargeable is worth 1000 of the disposables? Ha ha who's the idiot now?! How much have you wasted buying them? There's a obvious reason no one cares also so be very scared of that not Al Gore! Please!!! lol

Hello.

In every age since the death of Jesus Christ many have believed the end of the world was near. Nowadays is no exception.

There's enough filth in the world to make people believe now is as appropriate a time as any for us to be in the End Days. While it's possible, we shouldn't jump to conclusions.

First of all, it's entirely conceivable the Bible's Book of Revelation was written either in metaphor or as a way of giving Christians hope Jesus would conquer in a time when they were being brutalized. Emperor Nero persecuted Christians at the time John wrote the Book of Revelation. John was actually exiled to an island, where he slept with a rock as a pillow. He was upset. He wanted to keep Christianity alive at a time it was suffering possible extinction.

This is not to say we shouldn't take the Book of Revelation seriously, but it's important to understand the context under which it is written. And the mark of the beast he referred to is "666", not "777". If we are going to take the Bible literally, let's take it for what it tells us and not try to somehow force current events to fit. And on "666"....It was a common practice at that time to write in numeric code. A code available at the time translates "666" to "Nero", the most brutal Roman emperor in history. There are many other aspects of the Book of Revelation that are more than likely comments on the brutality of Nero and the sinful Roman civilization. Christians at the time were being crucified, raped, tortured, and even eaten alive by animals the Romans set loose on them. It was not a good time for Christians, and John, exiled to an island, may have been using his only human power - the pen - to give his fellow Christians hope Jesus would overcome.

Next, please provide me with the passage(s) of the Bible that states the antichrist will rule with an ecological agenda. I state this in all seriousness. If it's in there I would like to read for myself.

Last, well of course Gore urges people to buy from companies that support his seven pledges, because his seven pledges are based on conserving our environment!

I think the most appropriate way to answer that concern is this: What's the alternative to not buying from companies that have environmental conservation in mind? Buying from companies that don't care?

Is it right to continue to pump pollutants into our atmosphere? Do you like smog or would you prefer clean, fresh air in our major cities?

Don't you think God provided us with everything we need on this planet? Do you think maybe we've taken it a little too far by creating lots of man-made substances with chemicals and stuff that we don't really know how they interact with our bodies and all of nature?

The movement is about ecological conservation, it's about all-natural foods....it's about getting back to the resources God gave us to sustain life. It's about putting profit aside and thinking of each other. And it's bringing the world together.

Al Gore actually does know quite a bit about this. He's been championing this issue since he was a young Congressman in the '70s. His eyebrows were raised by a revolutionary professor he encountered while in college, one who showed there has been a rise in global temperature as it relates to the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere. That's what got Gore started on this, and he's educated himself ever since. He's made the trips around the world to see the consequences and he's taken the issue to heart.

We're talking about global conservation here, folks. If you don't believe it, fine. No one is forcing you to. You don't have to buy that energy-conserving lightbulb, or recycled toilet paper. You don't have to do anything.

All you have to do to answer this question is look within yourself. Does this feel right, or does it feel wrong? If it feels right to get on board with this issue, then do it. If it doesn't, then don't.

Short Answer: No, He is not.

Long Answer: No, He is not. Stop reading the religous books. Stop saying that a person who is trying to save the Earth and cares is an evil figure. If you yourself or anyone else believes that, they should not. That shows how much you care about our planet, you know, the one we live on? This is our last chance. Everybody, STOP saying bad things about a person who actually CARES about the Earth--It's the only thing we have and it shows that YOU don't care.
