i had to shut my phone off last night, when i turned it back on, i had like 10 msgs from the same person. very annoying!

Yes! And I feel perfectly right in doing so. I hate talking too long on the phone so when someone over calls, rings and calls back every 10 to 15 minutes, or I know they can talk for hours at a time, I either check the caller ID and not answer or unplug the phone when I don't feel like talking.

I don't turn the phone off. I have caller ID, so I just monitor the calls and let the answering machine pick it up if I don't want to talk.

Yes! i do that all the time. They just don't understand that i don't really feel like talking to them. I know thats mean but i just don't want to tell them that i hate talking to them because they are really good people. Just not good talkers.

Had to do that because of telemarketers, but normally I just ignore people, and they stop calling eventually.
