Saniflo is a company that makes a Toilet System that does not use gravity. The system is plugged into an electrical outlet. The flushed items are sent to a Macerator, which grinds everything up into a very fine substance. The system features a Pump that then pumps the ground up material up through 3/4 inch pipe toward your existing sewer connection. Depending on which model you select, the pump will pump up the ground up material up to 15 feet and or a combination of out to 150 feet. The advantages of such as product are that the labor costs to put such a system in your home for an additional bathroom or maybe a bathroom outside by your pool are much less. You can even connect a sink or shower drainage pipe to this system, thus rounding out a complete bathroom. Plumbing Wholesalers are your best bet for such a product.

When you say "pipe", do you mean a drain pipe? If it is a floor drain, simply pour about a quart of water in it every month or so. It is code that every drain with opening to the sewer must have a "trap" ( an elbow that water can be trapped in to keep air from backing up into the living space.) If the drain is never used, the water dries up and the sewer smell starts...those gases are not safe either....that is why it is in the safety code. I had one in a closet in my old townhouse....and once I thought about pouring the water in, the whole problem was gone.

You will need a good plumber and you will need an up flush toilet. They don't work as well as a standard toilet but the do work. My mother installed one in her house a few years ago.
I saw in Mother Earth News a masticating toilet. It chews up the waste and make it easier to dispose of. Don't know where to get it or how much it costs.

You will need to install a sump with an ejector pump in it. It is not terribly expensive or large but will cost a few hundred dollars to have a plumber put it in for you.

You will need a toilet with a pump. Macerating toilets are the best for this as they grind up the solids. Check on Saniflo toilets on their website.
