I believe you answered your own question. What you describe as a man (quoted above) is realy nothing more than a punk thug. These types have NO respect for women, treat them like OWNED OBJECTS and toss them aside without even thinking of her feelings.

To have feelings, compassion and to show an interest in what your girlfriend or wife likes, does not make one a "girly man." It makes him a caring, easy to love MAN.

Oh honey.

Well, first of all, baggy pants look stupid on everyone, men or women. Time to outgrow the baggy fashion show and put on some pants that *flatter* your figure, not make a mockery of it.

As for the buzz cut....YUCK. That's not sexy at all. A guy needs a little hair at least. Keep it short in the back but let some locks grow in front and fall across your forehead. Now that's a sexy look.

Rap music=snorefest. It's okay if you are into cars, but just remember that most girls aren't, so don't talk about cars *all* the time. Just now and again, and girls will think that's cute.
Being talkitive is ok....but are you a good listener too? Because girls and boys both want someone who will listen to them as well as talk to them about stuff they are interested in.

You don't have to be "soft". You just have to be kind and understanding and sympathetic. That doesn't make you less manly, being those things. It makes you a real man in the best sense of the word. It makes you a human being.

A girl also appreciates a guy with a sense of the romantic. Girls run on feelings and emotions. They like it when you do too--or at least, show that you can connect with them on an emotional level. If she can listen to you ramble on about cars, you can certainly return the favor and watch a romantic movie with her, bring her a handful of flowers once in a while, do a slow dance with her to her favorite song.

Or take her to an action flick, or camping or to a nightclub or whatever. Not *all* girls love romantic movies and shania twain. But if that's the kind of girl you are attracted to, you're going to have to compromise there a little bit.

Plenty of "real" men do those things and they are the ones you see dating the girls.
You don't have to wear a pink shirt. Just a clean one. :)

I'm sorry that happened to you but you never did say what started the whole thing not that it really matters. I'm a girly girl to but let me tell you no one will get the better of me and i've be to jail a few times to prove that point but with that said I do not think that your boyfriend should go and starting beating on her because the fact is that she is still a girl no matter how strong she is and to me the only time a female should be hit by a male is if she puts her self in that position to where she steps up to a man but other than that your boyfriend saying he's going to beat her butt isn't right on his part if you want something done then call the cops you have witnesses and evidence all over your face and body from what your saying and that's assault and battery which if i'm not mistaken that's a felony and carries a heavy fine and at least a year in jail just let them handle it take pictures and file a report that's all you can do

Hi! We meet again eh? Remember me? I'll try to be as subtle as possible this time.
I don't think every girl likes girly guys. It's just a matter of personal taste. Some girls feel that they can relate more to a guy who is in touch with his feminine side, maybe?.... I don't know. Or maybe some girls feel intimidated by a super macho guy.
I honestly do not like girly guys. Specially the ones who wear pink and are soft spoken. Guys with broad shoulders, tall and strong build are very attractive. Baggy pants are cool too.

Depends on the girl! I personally dont like a guy with long hair and listens to shania twain. I like the natural short hair. And guys who watch romance movies just cuz are total softies and wimps. I like the baggy pants. When guys wear jeans from hollister or something i thinki GAY! ahaha. but if your pants sag FORGeT IT! ewwie! I love someone who is talkative they never bore me! Trust me I am trying to figure it out too! It will never be solved

i am not sure what you are getting at here.

but i think metro sexy* guys are cute.

*they are guys that take extra time to look and smell good all the time. they are conscience of every detail about themselves and others.

i am not into long hair, baggy jean or grubby guys!

and someone said something about guys wearing pink. i like that too. if a man knows and is comfortable with himself he can wear any damn color. lol so my question would be why not pink? i like guys in yellow, orange and purple, too. lol

the buzz hair cut thing. i have been around that all my life. i am military brat - so that's all you see when your are stationed on base or near a base. lol clean cut and well shaven men - for uncle sam!

i like men who like to talk more than grunt. lol

into guys stuff? compared to girl stuff? g.i. joe compared to barbie? lol

rap music? i like rap and all types of music genres.

it's no mystery here - stop stereotyping, generalizing and dramatizing.

everyone is not the same nor do ALL guys/men act the same.

change your surroundings and friend scope and you will see far more than your front or backyard.

good luck on life.

^Woman like men, not as you say girlie boys, long hair can be sexy and manly, definitely not girlie, if you checked out the bikers in my neighborhood, I'd dare you to call them girlie, lol.
A guy can be into guy stuff, cars, sports etc. and still enjoy to dance.

Maybe it's because I've always hung out with the guys but I'm not that into romantic movies, I prefer action, adventure and sci-fi.

Women most definitely want men, but you don't have to get into fights, gamble or play macho to prove your a man, if you have to prove it your not.

If you want someone who likes baggy pants, buzz hair cut, talks about guy stuff, and likes rap music than date a boy.

Good morning, Faisal! I'm just speaking for myself. I'm an older woman and would have to tell you that most (not all) females like men that are interested in "them". By that, I mean, we girls like to be listened to, genuinely listened to; by nature, we enjoy talking and a majority of men (again, not all) have difficulty with that because men and women do think very differently, about everything! It's not so much the "girly boys", as you put it, but it appears to be they are attracted to men that are more wrapped up in "them"(women) than in themselves. It doesn't matter so much "what" you look like as much as it matters "who" you are...put your focus on the person you are inside instead of what you look like on the outside.
