I'm travelling to Chicago and staying there from July 8 to July 14. How's the weather usually over there? Is it really a "windy city"? I'd like to here from Chicagoans too. =)

In July, it's pretty warm and humid - in the 80's to 90's. Fairly pleasant, really, especially if you're near or on the lakefront. And it's not really that windy. The nickname comes from the blustery politicians, not from it actaully being all that windy.
