Call the town hall of the town the house is in and ask them if they know anything. The house may be in litigation, or not be available for sale due to police investigation. Or it may be locked up in an estate battle.

Before you even think about buying it, contact a real estate attorney. Many attorneys will give you a free consultation to see what your needs are.

Be careful buying a house that has had two murders. There may be interest in whether something is hidden in the house, and you may have bothersome visitors. Good luck!

Easy question. Contact a Realtor. They can do any leg work that needs done when it comes to research and will make sure any legal matters are taken care of as well. Always, and I mean always use a Realtor. And no I am not a Realtor so I have nothing to sell.

Two things.

1. Mail a letter to the house of your interest.
2. Knock on the doors of the neighbors.

Or if you want to spend money contact a Skip Tracer.

Easiest thing to do is just contact a realtor in town and they will do the work for you & find out everything. That's what I would do.
