POLL: Im painting my room what color should I paint it?

Its already a very light ice blue color =)

BTW my fave colors are...well I love all colors but I really like lavender and Dark turquoise =) Orange is awesome too, and red its rad! Pinks pretty and yellow makes me happy! Green is amazing too!

If you want your room to be light and open looking, go for lighter colors like lime green and sky blue, or orange and pink..if you want more closed in feeling go with darker colors like red and beige or dark blue and silver...there are so many choices!! Good luck!

You should paint it chocolate on one wall and turquoise on the other three. It is a hot combiation. Then get to work finding some retro 1970's furniture and pictures. Your friends will be so jealous. Watch "That '70's Show" for great ideas.

You could do a glaze with a deeper blue. I love that paint effect. Or some type of violet/blue worked into the existing color.

if you have an artistic friend have him help you paint... with the ceiling blue... mix a lil glow in the dark paint and put some stars up with the blue paint.. and have your friend paint some nice scenery around your room... somewhere where you love to be... a beach... the park... a lake... you know whereever you like... and at night when the lights are out.. and you look up you could see the stars.... :-) hope this helps you.... i think that would look awsome...

I say go Red.

make sure to texture it.

then put on a gloss coat.

then put on some pink (stripes or splatter)

then coat of gloss

then white (stripes or splatter) in a different direction

then gloss coat.

That would be the best looking room for you i think, plus it would have a 3 dimensional look. it will take some time to achive tho.

It depends on what color is the best for you or your favorite color. Paint it bright green if youre crazy, pink if you just cant stand not looking in the mirror, and Black if you dont care.

Pay someone to paint art! I got a tiger on my room, in my mums house before (R.i.p) when i was a kid however she done hers a chocolate and burgandy and mixed all the furniture to suit, then she got us as kids to write messages on the ceiling with glow in the dark paint, and their still their till this day.

My fav would be a light seafoam green. I've a friend who just painted her room lavender and it is very comforting.
