Ideally, I would like to find an honest dealer (who will give a fair and reasonable price) somewhere within an hours drive of Bristol or Cardiff.

Search for antique shops within that area that deals in dolls.
Enter the name of any town, counties, or the first group of digits of the postcodes in the search engine as well as antiques and dolls.
If the shops website looks reasonable contact it in person, a phone call will be enough for now, and ask if they are dealing in the kind of dolls you want to sell.
Ask some to make a evaluation for insurance purposes or tell the truth and tell them you are looking for the real selling price, but do not sell them at the first offer. If the price seems right, still ask at several other shops what they will give. You can always go back.

Remember, you never get the amount that you should insure for, as the dealer needs to make a lot of profit to cover the cost of his shop as well as his own pay.

If you are not pleased with the amount of money offered you can try to sell on e-bay or an like site, where you can set the minimum price.

It is hard to find a doll collector your best bet would be to go to an antique store that has several dealers there is bound to be a dealer that likes dolls.
