I love hydrangeas, because my grandma used to have them all over her property and it is still vivid in my memories, and makes me think of her.

the sun flower.
nothing in nature is better.
the sun guides its face all through the day...bright and yellow...
and when the flower fades....ir provides more than enough food for the birds to keep them happy for a while longer.

My favorite flower is the gardenia. There was a HUGE bush of them outside of our family room window when I was growing up. During blooming season, I would cut the flowers off of it every day and put them in bowls of water throughout the house. It made the whole house smell wonderful. The next day, there would be a whole new set of blossoms.
I wore gardenias from the bush in my hair to the senior prom and also ordered them to be part of my wedding bouquet.
I think heaven must smell of gardenia blossoms!

I love all kinds of flowers for all kinds of reasons, but my favorite this year is a spider Lilly, my mom sent a spring bouquet for my birthday and it reminded me of the ones my father sent every year before his death in the early '90s. The arrangement was full of all kinds of flowers, roses, carnations but this spider lily was the crowning glory of the basket, it was breathtaking!

I have two. First is red roses, because the first guy I fell in love with brought me a single red rose on our first date. The second is wild orchids. Because they are beautiful to me..

I love the Gardenia...and hope to always have the bush in my yard where ever that may be. The smell makes me a child every time.

i really don't have a favorite, I do like crape murtle trees in full bloom, and lilac trees were allways in my grandmothers yard, love the smell of those. and wild flowers are so cool because man didn't plant those.
