Got friends visiting with kids and wondered if places hired this console out? It would be great if somewhere did but I can't seem to find anything on the internet. We live in the UK (South West).

I don't think you will find a place that will rent out a wii console. Even if they did, you might not able to get one to rent. :(

Go to Blockbuster or Hollywood video. They rent out the game consoles for 5 days

there's a company called Hire-eze near me which lets you hire out electronic equipment. not too sure if there's one in the sw, but it's worth a try.
otherwise you can buy cheap consoles which plug into the tv, they're not usually an expensive make, but are good enough for a quick game and keep people amused for a few days.

some larger blockbusters do allow rentals of the wii or x box ect, but ur best advise is to buy one and keep the reciet, and return it after the weekend, saying ur not 100% satiffied with the product.
(note if u do this the place u buy it from have to do full money back)
and not to do it to offten as conmany will not return a product if u brought it once/twice before

Shame you dont live next door, I purchased a wii and it has been sitting on my table for 5 months now collecting dust.
