Till the motor stops running. Since a liter is a little larger than a quart all depends what type of car, how heavy and engine size.
We don't have a lot of important facts to go on with this question.

Just a quick guess... A liter is just a bit more than 1/4 gallon, so if your car gets 40 miles to a gallon, it should get about 10 miles to a liter
