I think Bush is a very bad president, but how can be the worst president ever when FDR sent thousands of Japanese Americans to internment camps after the attack on Pearl Harbor?

The more atrocious item from the second world war was the loose definition of habeus corpus used by that administration. Basically they if they felt you were dangerous to the country or the war effort, you were locked away for "psychiatric evaluation" (which the Attorney General - name escapes me at the moment - decided did not apply. Another good example was Lincoln actually deporting a sitting congressman/senator to Canada during the Civil War.

The problem with America today is that people don't know how good they have it. There is no draft, no rationing for the war effort, etc. that have been seen in prior wars and conflicts.

Sorry, but Bush IS the worst President ever. Unlike FDR (granted, I don't know the details behind the Japanese internment, except that Japan declared war on the US), he denied the rights of war criminals to due process and to habeas corpus, which Bush completely did away with last year.

Lets see here, when Bush leaves office we will no longer have a country. You haven't heard about the North American Union and the Amero? I would say when one president leaves office an there is no country left....he easily takes first prize as worst president ever!!!

Carter was probably one of the worst.

I say probably only because I don't know everything about presidents from history.

But Carter allowed the Shaw of Iran to fall which precipitated the need for current wars. He simply gave away the Panama Canal. His energy policy was a disaster. He sympathized with the USSR rather than trying to out maneuver them. The economy was very bad under his administration, and the people knew all of this.

FDR made mistakes, every president does, but he did defend this nation, and he didn't try to run a politically correct war. Instead he let 'em have it.

How can he be the worst President when it's Cheney making all of the decisions? When the whole story is eventually uncovered (in 20-30 years) it will be clear that Bush is only a Puppet for Cheney and his corporate good ol' boys.

How? Because the standard set by libs is now further left than ever. In FDR's day you didn't have gay pride day parades, legalized abortions, needle exchange programs or all the PC crap we have to put up with now. Whatever libs are smoking, it's affecting their sense of reality more than ever.

Good choice by FDR if we stop being so P/C we would be a lot safer country. Arabs & muslims should get looked harder. They're the ones causing the problems.
