Into Mr Gores pockets,he already buys his "offsets" from himself, his own company,I SMELL A RIP OFF SCARE CAMPAIGN & $ being sucked into his vacum of political correctness LIE

It's tiring that people are always wanting to pull something bad out of something good.

I could care less about Al Gore, of course, but that's not the whole point of the event. It's to promote being green, to combat uprising global warming. If we aren't aware now, will we be aware 30 years from now? When things really do start happening on the planet Earth.

There's some things that I don't like about Live Earth, but it's very minuscule. For the most part, Live Earth is trying to promote green, by making it seem cool. With concerts, famed pop singers, and heavy enforcement of trying to be green, they're at least doing something to help the world be better.

D*mn, wish I had said what you did! Al Gore is nothing more than a blathering idiot in the same category as Michael Moore, and a whole host of others who really preach this cr*p, but don't live it. If Gore was professing Christ, he'd be called the biggest hypocrite in the world, but strangely enough, his hypocrisy in this instance escapes notice.

What do you believe in? I think that Al Gore is going overboard on something but when you start yelling world order you better start with the 'White House'. You stand there and rant and rave about how they are sticking it to us, what is your idea to get us out of this problem. Or do you think there is no problem? All I can say, 'where is you head!'

There really are many things in this world that are more threatning to us as a society than Global warming. Al Gore is a hypocrite. If he really cared about making the Earth "greener", he would not "buy" carbon credits from those that are not "using" them. He would believe and practice what he preaches. Instead he has a mansion in Tennessee that uses more energy in 27 days than the average home in that state does in an entire year. He would also be a vegetarian because the meat industry including cows and farms produce more than 20% of the worlds polution which is far more than that of all the oil and coal companies combined. We need to worry about terrorism and extremeism and stopping that before we worry about global warming. Besides, as soon as there is a democrat in the White House we'll be on the verge of another ice age, just like we were when Bill Clinton was there.

these so called 'pop stars' should stick to doing what they are good at, that is entertaining people and making money for themselves.overpopulation is the greatest threat to this planet.geldof and his 'feed the world crap' which gave millions to the somali gov.was used to extend the civil war and did nothing to reduce starvation, starvation is still there now.
