Microsoft disabled POP3 support recently. I used to use POP3 and hotmail with my old computer and hadn't used it in years. When I tried it didn't work and looking into it deeper Microsoft disabled it because they were afraid of competition. You will either have to setup forwarding from a computer or buy a service to give you pop3 access.
