Mine is Wonderful Tonight, no offense to the avatar. That song makes me nuts...he is thanking her for looking wonderful while she puts his drunken butt to bed. For crying out loud! What is so freaking romantic in that?

Is there a song that you loathe hearing?

I loathe the song "1985" by that band called.. Bowling for Soup i think.. i cant remember who it was by right now lol.
The reason why i hate it so much is because everytime i hear it it gets so stuck in my head that i'm humming it all day. On Valentine's Day it was playing and my boyfriend and I were singing it together, since then everytime I heard that song it made me think of Valentine's Day. Well.. guess what? We're broken up now and that song STILL makes me think of Valentine's Day with HIM!!! GAH!!! >.<
Plus, the song's kinda annoying anyway...

Songs they play in Denny's or IHOP at 3 am...Barry Manilow. Guess Im a total music snob eh?

dancing queen and seventeen

I was a door man and a dance club in orlando and older women would come in during the week when it would be slow and request those two songs. So you would sit there at the door with nothing to do and hear the songs over, and over and over..... so to this day i know both the songs by heart and will curse them till the day i die

Oh, Lord, yes! (About a dozen, for various reasons...) But the top of the heap, (in the same-more-or-less) vein as the one you posted is by the Eagles, no less! (I LOVE THEM!; and 1 song that makes me crazy out of about a million that didn't, but still...) "Lying Eyes". It makes me want to strangle....arrrgh! Most of the others; it's not the song so much as the fact that it got played to death! Poor Elton's "Candle In The Wind"... Not his fault; good song; but....I swear! Thanks. }:> Oh. I'll bite; what IS so freaking wonderful about that? The lady should get herself a new...

But he wrote that song about the very beautiful Paddi Boyd, however its spelled, her first husband George Harrison wrote the song Something about her. I do take yer point with Wonderful Tonight though, but I kinda don't like it cause all the nightclubs overplayed it during the slow dances.

Every single song I had to listen to at karaoke tonight. Drinking on duty during karaoke should by a law.

Avril Levigne - My Happy Ending
I HATE that song...the lyrics drive me nuts:

Let's talk this over
It's not like we're dead
Was it something I did?
Was it something You said?
Don't leave me hanging
In a city so dead
Held up so high
On such a breakable thread

I mean she says dead twice just because it rhymes...it just irritates the heck outta me...
