How, exactly, did the man distinguish himself during his time in the Senate? And how does two decades as lobbyist for hire qualify him to be POTUS?

My point is that he more or less sat on his *** while he was in the Senate.

And how on earth is he a washington outsider? He spent seventeen years as a beltway lobbyist.

He is just an actor, and we had that in Ronnie Reagan with Nancy being the script writer!

Fred Thompson, is no outsider!!

HE is as inside as one can be as a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. Which another member of the CFR has to invite new members.

He is very much an elitist insider and a promoter of a one world government just as the CFR are doing...

Well, according to the Constitution, he is "qualified" to be POTUS. I love my country and my Constitution, and was a lobbyist at one time. It is a necessary and unjustly condemned endeavor that gives the citizens a way to make government hear their voices.

He left. This, in my book, makes him an outstanding Senator.
