We had some water leakage through our ceiling, which caused a small area of the popcorn ceiling to peel off. What's the quickest and easiest way to repatch that?

You can buy a can of popcorn cieling patch in the paint section of LOWE'S or Home Depot. All you have to do is just spray it on the needed area till it blends in with the rest of the cieling. Touch up with paint when it's dry and that's all there is to it.

Get a spray bottle and something with a 4-5 inch face for scrapping. Saturate the ceiling, wait 30 seconds, then scrape. No more popcorn ceiling

I tried this on my own by purchasing the canned ceiling repair stuff at Home Depot. What a disaster. . . you have to be really quick and wave that can fast or it all comes out in a big blob. . . . like it did for me! I ended up having to scrape the blob off the ceiling and hired a professional to do it.

The type of ceiling you are referencing is out of date and I haven't seen one that was repaired end up looking anything like the original ! I'd suggest scraping the entire ceiling , seal the water stain , re paint or re texture with one of the many varieties available .Good Luck !!!!!!
