That is what one would think, voting for principles and not a label. Its time to think and vote out of the box. Your Tv is the box and it has its agendas and who they want to be elected based on monetary issues rather than we the people issues. It goes to show us where the mind set is in America and why we have lost so much freedoms, rights, money and world approval. I am an independant in thought and in voting. However this next election it has been made very clear to me there is only one person running that is speaking real truths and is looking out fo the people. He is a republican which I thought i would never vote for after the neocons destroyed this countries reputation. He is Ron Paul. The time is now to take back america. Do your own research vote on your morals.

That has been my question too.
I don't like it that people are choosing their candidates, or not choosing them, based on their sex, religion or skin color.
I look at every one who is running for office, as an individual. I vote for them based on their views and thoughts and actions. Not on the fact that they belong to a particular party or if they are a female or not.
I have seen so much hype on here about every candidate and it troubles me. It seems that all everyone is doing is looking for the bad in others and spreading all the rumors that they can. No one is perfect and so I choose from the list of candidates based on their track record and their plans to fix America.

Not really. I was watching the news and it said more African Americans would vote for Hillary than Barrack in a recent poll done by the associated press. I know more men voting for Hillary than women. So get your facts straight before you make ignorant and arrogant comments.

I will vote Republican or Libertarian. But as long as the democrat party is under the influence of left wing socialist I cannot in good conscious support them in any fashion.

It has never been that simple, in my lifetime.
For example, maybe you prefer a fringe candidate - but to vote for them would be to divide the vote for one party causing neither of the decent candidates to get elected but instead enabling the one truly nasty candidate to get the seat with a 50% vote. In that case it's unfortunate but more conscienble to vote for the slightly less preferable but more popular person. It's easy to blame voters for a broken system, but when it comes down to it, the system is the problem.

I always vote for the candidate of my choice.
I choose based on what I perceive to be the ability of the candidate to support the constitution from a conservative view.

I vote according to the candidate and choose to support who best fits my political views. My decision is never influenced by polls, media, friends, family or interest groups. I am a republican and believe the true conservative values of my party but unfortunately many republicans and especially the candidates aren't standing true to those values. Rudy is the closest to mine. Rudy has a proven track record and the leadership that I believe we need in our next President.
