All things being equal and based on the fact that every action has an equal and opposite reaction, is this the only time that Republicans are doing anything good for the citizens of the United States?

All of their awake time activities are destructive to our country so I wondered if there was a scientific balance to their actions?

Oh good. Another bored internet user who forgot to take his medication today....Adolf.

Since Democrats are essentially sleeping while they're awake, I suppose it would be difficult to tell when they are the most destructive.....just breathing can produce vile results when you're dealing with a liberal, "awake" or not.

But at least you didn't suggest the only good Republican is a dead Republican. I have to applaud you for that much restraint. That amount of self-control isn't typical for any liberal, so you must be a cut above the rest.

(How do you like the sweeping, insulting generalizations? I didn't TRULY mean it, but am trying to drive home a point.) There is good and bad in both parties - but trying to tip the scale with insults and hatred isn't good for either party, and sort of makes you look stupid...which I suspect you really aren't.

Instead of dissing the conservatives, why don't you expend all this energy and obvious intellectual skill by promoting what the party of your choice is doing RIGHT?

If you can find something, please be sure to let the rest of us know! :-)

Not at all.. but I wouldn't consider Bush, Cheney and the rest real Republicans. These guys have doubled the size of our government and passed more pork barrel projects to make the Democrats envious. They are hardly fiscally responsible.

Ronald Reagan, Abraham Lincoln, Theodore Roosevelt all men who skyrocketed peace and America into new ages, all republican
The Democrats have had their share of failures and successes, just as the Republicans, to demonize an entire party is short-sighted and wrong

If so we must've been asleep all through the Civil War. You know, when we fought against the Dems to free slaves.

Chi, you're scaring me brother, this is like the 5th time in a week we agree... am I becoming more liberal or are you becoming more conservative.... perhaps it's a little of both.. Or maybe we're just finding our overlap. Either way, God Bless.

Real Republicans versus RINOs are a healthy addition to the strength of this nation.

Both sides have of the political spectrum have endearing, and courageous attributes. The extremist on both sides are definitely bad for all of society. Neo-cons are the extremists who claim to be Republicans.

Politicians from both parties are idiots, if you think repubs have a monopoly on idiocy, then I've got a beach house in Arizona for you.

Dude, politicians of both parties are the same. They are ego-driven, power mad *******.

People like you who think the way you do are what is wrong with this once great nation.

Most Republicans are good people, but Cheney and the shadow govenment he represents are not good people. They want perpetual war so the defense contractors can continue to plunder the U.S. Treasury.

i completely agree with you..... i think the only time republicans and dumbocrats are doing anything good for the country is when they are wasting time giving them selves raises and replacing old laws with new laws that are just as ineffective, so they can debate new laws that do nothing......
