A couple years ago my sister wanted to 're-live' an earlier Christmas, so she wanted to get a silver tree and wheel like we had growing up. So, she put an ad in the paper to purchase one. You wouldn't believe how many people still had their old silver trees, and were willing to part with them. I don't know if they were Silver Forest trees, but they were silver.

The trees were popular in the 50's. They were a novelty that soon died off. You couldn't hang any lights on them. You had to have an electrical color wheel that shined on the tree to change it to different colors.
