That is just one of many reasons for being nude, in the ocean and at the beach. Along with certain bacteria which cause stinging when flush against you skin and suit, the way the water and feels against you body. Even the sand is easily brush off for comfort.
I never want to wear a bathing suit again.

The sand is perhaps caught between the fabric. that's what occurred to mine and my white suit became ruined. i do no longer think of there is an determination different than to rinse in between the fabric.

Yeah, bathing suit+sand=dang. But if you went nude it would just go up your butt or something.

I am keeping the suit on....at least it is keeping some of the sand out of the nether regions.
