im making a team for wireless battles thats gonna own but i need to know where to get a larvitar.

You can only get it in diamond, not pearl.
Larvitars are in that grass patch behind the museum in Oreburgh,(You know, where the first gym is). Otherwise known as route 207. You need the pokeradar, which you get after getting the national pokedex. They are very rare.
Although if you have Fire Red or Leaf Green, you can get one easy at Seavault Canyon and migrate it.

on pokemon diamond (pokemon pearl you can get it )
go to the place where you defeat roark (the rock type gym leader) go behind the mueseum you will see a grass bit(dont use your bike) use the pok'e rader ( get it at proffers lab after elite 4) you might see some its 25% catching for me its qiute hard . the lv is about 6 - 10 i think so pick a lv 10 - 14 pokemon

you can get them using the pokerader maybe but i have a 10th aniversary tyrannitar :) You can also migrate them but i have a tyrannitar so i can give u a free larvitar if you want.
