Exactly how is Sen. Lugar an "obvious percentage"? What does that even mean?

I doubt if many Republicans have converted to Neocon. Most of the Neocons today are either hawkish leftists who left the Democratic Party, or youngsters who grew up under Bush and don't really know the party's history.

Hey, youngsters! Take a step back and look at who you're supporting. George Bush is NOT the heart of the Republican Party. He and his NeoCon leftist buddies are about to go home. Don't get stuck in their mud.

It's funny, people here seem to think that all neocons are former liberals/democrats?
I do not see any evidence that supports this.
Exerpt from wikipedia
"Neoconservatism is a political movement that emerged as a rejection of liberalism and the New Left counter-culture of the 1960s. It coalesced in the 1970s and was influential in the Reagan administration, George H. W. Bush administration, and George W. Bush administration."
You would think republicans might know a little more about their own party.

It really calls into question the suitability of being a "Rhodes Scholar" doesn't it ? I don't think much of it or of many in academia given the so called professors they have , most come from the far left and are outright communists .

Man, a Republican can not convert to a NeoCon.
The term NeoConservative is defined as a FORMER LIBERAL espousing conservative values.

A liberal can become a NeoCon simply by becoming a conservative. A conservative can become a NeoLib (yes it is an actual term) by becoming a liberal. In fact, Hillary is a NeoLib, she was the president of the Young Republicans chapter at her college.
