I will. This has to be a major accomplishment for it to be
broadcast over most of the planet. I think they expect
it to seen by a billion people.
Bravo to them, for wanting a clean, healthy planet.
They are my hero's, simply for caring enough to be there.
Rock on!

Where are the real activist musicians? wheres U2? REM? Willie Nelson? Sheryl Crow? Midnight Oil?
Not many in the line up that I would pay money to see or to buy an album from. Wembley has better headliners than the USA but lots of no names also.
Most of the bands i did like are missing key members that really made the band in my opinion such as no peter gabriel in genesis.
So im really not particularly interested. But im going to another concert tonight anyway. One thats a benefit against child abuse.

go enjoy the music and smoke yourself a big fatty. I'll stay here and beat up on Gore, while my car sets in it's parking space and avoid creating greenhouse gases.

I'll listen to the rockers. When the rappers come on,I turn down the volume or change the channel. Or if someone starts pontificating too much.
BTW,they're gonna have a lot of waste to clean up. Kind of defeats the purpose.

I'm spending the day wondering what it would hurt if we ALL got a little “green”?
Is it too political to save money? I'm thinking that even true-blue red-blooded conservatives would welcome the chance to save money.
Have a look at some of the cost effective ideas that even a member of the G.O.P. could use to not only save money for themselves, but also save resources for future conservatives.

You don't have to be a liberal to save/make money and be "green" at the same time.
Like: “Compact Fluorescent Lights (CFLs) last up to 10 times longer than traditional bulbs and use only a fraction of the energy, saving you money over their lifespan.”.
Find a “Live Earth” event you can attend today 7/7/07

I could never go to a Live Earth concert, too much risk of someone stealing my wallet. Plus I couldn't stand the smell.

Who cares? They're burning lots of fossil fuel to make the electricity for the concerts and transportation of equipment and people, along with environmental degradation of the concert sites. They are hugely hypocritical....and it's all to make a huge backdrop for Gore's announcement that he's going to run again.
