There is a difference between Wi-Fi and wireless internet.

Wi-Fi is a wireless network that may or may not have a internet connection, either one you setup in your home or bussiness or at a local Hot Spot such as Starbucks or McDonalds.

Wireless Internet is a service provided by most cell phone companies that allow you to insert a pcmcia card in your laptop and receive a wireless 3G signal were ever you can get a cell phone signal to your laptop to connect to the internet wirelessly.

If you are referring to mobile wifi service, many cell phone carriers offer the service.

1. The service is expensive (per-minute charges apply)
2. The service is about as reliable as a cell phone
3. The speed, although advertised as "blazing" is much slower than a cable modem.

You have to buy a WiFi Router which you use with your existing cable or DSL service. WiFi is just a short range networking technology and not a high speed Internet delivery service.

your question doesn't make any sense... if you mean you're looking for a router, Linksys, Netgear... both good... if you are trying to get internet service you should contact the companies in your area that provide it and then you'll still need a router to go wireless (inside your house)
