Yes, it would show positive because the hormones are still in flux. And why would you be testing less than two weeks after giving birth? How soon did you have intercourse and why?

Good lord! If you are pregnant, you must be the most fertile person on the planet.

Um, I don't think, even if you did ovulate and catch that egg, that it would show up positve for this new pregnancy for another 2 weeks, and by then hopefully the hormones from the old pregnancy will be out of your system.

Wait a month, then take another pg test. Oh, and lay off the sex for a while. another baby that close would be very unhealthy for both you and the baby.

Yes, taking a pregnancy test this soon after having a baby COULD show a false positive. I mean, think about it, you still have all those hormones in your body! I doubt that you're pregnant only 12 days after giving birth. Its not impossible, but it is HIGHLY unlikely. You're uterus hasn't had a chance to recover and I doubt you've ovulated since giving birth. Even if you did, your uterus wouldn't be prepared to hold another fertilized egg.

You really shouldn't be having sex AT ALL yet. Your body has been through so much trauma. It needs a break. Its recommended to wait at least 6 weeks before inserting ANYTHING into your vagina. This includes penis'! lol

It's very possible. Either way, you can't get an accurate result on a pregnancy test for at least 8-10 days. Chances are you haven't ovulated, but it's possible.

At this point, your biggest worry is infection. You should be refraining from sex for 6 weeks following the birth of a child.

Having never tried a pg test after giving birth, I'm hesitant to answer, but I'll ask this - how and why did you have unprotected sex with a baby? I was too busy trying to sleep!

You sound so stupid why would you have sex a week after giving birth? I know your doctor told you to wait until your six weeks check up how desperate could you be?

I think so. But, I did not think of having sex after my child. I was to tired. Getting up every couple of hrs. Your body need time to heal. After a child. You should of waiting for intercouse even using a condom. But, good luck.

properly try would be a hundred% precise. all the hormones out of your previous pregnacy are long gone. soo wait till you permit out your era..in case you alrdy have bypass purchase a try now. or you need to jus make dctr apt and get blood try. those are VERY VERY VERY tender to early being pregnant

i dont think so...i know pregnancy tests work better early in pregnancy..the further along you are (like 8 months) the less accurate it is...for some reason the pregnancy hormone becomes less apparent in the urine the further along you progress in pregnancy
