Hey there!

Here's the answer.

x^5+4x^3+3x^2+12 -->
(x^5+4x^3)+(3x^2+12) -->
x^3(x^2+4)+4(x^2+4) -->
(x^3+4)(x^2+4)

So the answer is (x^3+4)(x^2+4).

Hope it helps!

Hi,

Factor x³ out of the first 2 terms and factor 3 out of the last 2 terms. Then put the 2 GCFs together as one of the factors.

x^5 + 4x³ + 3x² + 12 =

x³(x² + 4) + 3(x² + 4) =

(x³ + 3)(x² + 4)

I hope that helps!! :-)

x^5 + 3x² + 4x³ + 12
= x².(x³ + 3) + 4.(x³ + 3)
= (x³ + 3).(x² + 4)
