does my lawyer still collect?

i won a law suit the buisness was ready to settle, i never went to sign for settlement is that still my money

Of course the lawyer collects. He collects before everyone. Thats why they have so many lawsuits.

If you did not sign, you have not 'won' anything. Depending on the circumstances, your lawyer may still try to collect fees - from you, as they were working on your behalf.
