Give up the Jets, The Limos, the electricity, the expensive cars, and actually plant trees themselves instead of paying other people to do it.

I'm all for helping our environment. But the people who are leading the global warming movement are profiteers.

I'd like to leave my carbon footprint on al gore's face.

Sure would but it will never happen. The common people like to live vicariously through their idols. And their idols are only too happy to indulge.

Also, most of the very wealthy really don't give a toot. They can afford to get away from it all. The whole mess is just more of a class war from your angle, sad but true.

Can you see Paris Hilton going to parties on a BICYCLE? Haha... Or Bush? How about Cheney? Can you see any of them actually walking to work and brown bagging it? LOL.

For example, there was Cheryl Crow telling us all to use one sheet of tp per bowel movement but her touring entourage and personal demands per engagement are extremely polluting! I don't mean to pick on Ms. Crow, but she is one example of many.

And the Illuminati mouthpiece and high priest of deceit, Al Gore is not as he seems. His home is hardly environmentally sound, any more than the White House.

I also think, instead of light bulbs we think of the DEPLETED URANIUM that is being poured into our environment daily by the war mongers. THIS pollution is forever, well,4.5 billion years, but who is counting? AND it warps the genetic base of whoever or whatever it touches... FOREVER.

So while you are counting your slips of tp and cleaning up your auto emissions, remember what is being done in places you cannot see, by people who are forbidden to discuss it, by a government that plays very dirty. And nothing is dirtier than dirty bombs... nothing.

The point is that this is a problem no one person can fix. China refuses to do anything because the US uses so much more energy. The US refuses to do anything because it will cost money. And you refuse to do anything becuase someone else's Hummer emits more CO2 than your Camry. So what? We can all sit here and point fingers while the oceans rise and people begin to die, or we can do what we can now. When the Ganges stops flowing and the famine sweeps India, will you feel better because you don't drive a Hummer? Let's stop wasting time trying to find someone who's worse than we are and get to work on this thing before it destroys our planet.

You are right. There is immense hypocrisy.

I think I do a pretty good job of trying to protect the environment as a nobody.

I turn off lights or try not use them.
I pick up liter everywhere.
I do not use my AC or Heat very much.
I recycle.
I drive a hybrid.
I do not smoke.

Don't you know that you must first make enormous amounts of C02 before you can inform the public to use less? You must make a concert and fill it with musicians who use more C02 in one week than other Americans do in a year.

It is the ONLY way I will take them seriously. If they are the advocates and do not follow their own message then I must assume they are lying about the cause of the problem.

Sure. But then again, I don't mind the life I live. I don't need a limo or to live in excessive waste.

But that doesn't mean the problem isn't real.

But nice try on diverting attention.

Who the hell cares what they do?

Take some personal responsibility and do your part. Or have conservatives given up on that whole personal responsibility thing? Maybe it's just empty rhetoric.

they can not do what they tell others to do as they are the elites. I would like to see the east and left coast gone my self and see palm tress on the great lakes. The Europe would be gone to so we do not have to save their lazy tails again.

Yes most definitely , but you have the names wrong (in my opinion) they are not the "Elites " , they are the "Leaches " on society .
