This person doubled her actual gross monthly income, inflated the value of a house jointly owned by me (without mentioning anywhere that half the value is not hers), said the house was pending sale when it wasn't, and lastly has been late on payments because she can't afford the loan.

Who do I report this fraud to? The development was just trying to sell the house to anyone who walked up, so they wouldn't care. Would the bank be the people to write? I heard there are underwriters that back loans.... is that what I should be looking for?

Lasty, yes, I am a little bitter about a divorce and putting the screws to my soon-to-be-ex. She has ruined a wonderful family in the pursuit for money and material possesions. She deserves it. Save me the revenge is wrong lecture for another category. This biatch will be paying me child support and I will have the kids over 50%. What does that tell you about her?

I have received all of her loan paperwork through the divorce financial discovery process. The sooner she's out of her house the sooner she will be able to support her family.

Providing that fraud has not been committed by someone signing your name to documents, this person may just be boasting of what they have gotten away with. Bare in mind that lenders will take certain actions when a loan (especially a new loan) has default problems. They may take the 4506 form that this person signed at closing and order tax documents, or other such similar actions. If fraud is established the lender will call the entire note due and payble immediately. As part of all mortgage loan closing documents, there was a certification that must be executed that attest the "information contained on the application is true and correct to the best their knowledge". They can be fined or jailed or both. If it is a FHA loan, you can report fraud on the HUD website below, and if fraud is determined to be true then this person will never be able to get another FHA loan. Something else, recently the IRS as been obtaining copies of mortgage loan applications, by federal warrant, in an attempt to document suspected tax evasion, then reviews the claim of the income stated on the application, maybe even reviewing tax returns provided to the mortgage lender and compare it to the filing of the income on this persons federal tax returns. The IRS website can also provide information on reporting fraud, then cost us all money!

Unless YOUR name or credit rating are being hurt in this train-wreck somehow, why do you care? If she can't afford the home and got it only through those lies, she'll get caught up to soon enough when she can't afford the payments. If she can afford it, then there isn't a problem.

It would be very strange if a home lender didn't verify the info given on an application. Your facts might or might not be correct - how would you know all these things?

I have a hard time believing your story. First I think there is no way to get a loan without an official appraisal on the home, a title search which would reveal you as half owner, and an income verification using tax records. Loan companies are not that stupid.

This is such a bitter question, I am going to have to answer!
This has nothing to do with you, unless of course you part owner of the the house in question that the loan is on. Then your involved in a conspiracy to commit loan fraud. If you are a part owner, agreed to this loan by signing the security instrument!

I would be careful in filing anything that could turn out to be less than the truth, unless you have all the final papers signed that prove your allegations.
My suggestions is you might want to go and visit this site and start your research there

Why be vindictive the fact that she can't make her payments on time is indication enough that she misrepesented her income . In time she'll be forclosed upon for not paying the mortgage. It really doesn't seem to be your problem, It's between her and the bank that loaned her the money.

Hi,
Hey, two wrongs don't make a right. Sorry you two couldn't work things out, but for the sake of your own sanity....GIVE IT UP! Believe me, life will go on and get better. The Bank will reel her in soon enough, so let it go before your heart explodes, or you have a stroke. Sounds like she wasn't the one for you anyway!

You posted a few days ago and indicated it was your ex-wife. why don't you just get on with your life and let the chips fall where they may? How do you know what was on the loan application if you weren't a party to the transaction?

mendacity on a private loan application is a federal offense and that i could think of that the financial business enterprise that actual gave her the money could desire to be conscious of approximately this. yet she's digging her very own hollow and could at last be caught in it with out way out, so why not in trouble-free terms permit her dig? you are able to not stress her to not be broke, you are able to not replace her way of lifestyles, you are able to not replace her character. in case you desire to checklist her in basic terms so which you will get newborn help from her, that's not likely to take place. She'll ward off paying it to you regardless. the excellent thank you to get the newborn help is to have her wages garnished by using the state. in case you desire to checklist her mendacity on an application in basic terms to be vindictive, that's your prerogative. yet is that truly the occasion you desire to set on your babies? I study a number of your previous posts and you profess to be Christian yet you do not sound like one from this submit. The bitterness and anger you have in the direction of your ex will in basic terms consume away at you. the excellent element for you would be to go on, positioned the undesirable history in the back of you, and look ahead to a greater constructive lifestyles with jointly with your babies. WWJD?
