When i try and get my fingers to play the notes on a bass guitar my fingers bend in a strange way, how ca.....

n i teach my hands not to do this or is there another way to play?

My 2 middle fingers bend backwards should i prehaps learn to play the drums instead? theres nothing wrong with my fingers

There is nothing wrong with your fingers, (I think,) it is just that you do not have strong enough muscles yet.
I used to have the same problem.
Play a little each day and you will see that it improves.
