Everyone treats you how you allow. You show someone how to treat you by what you allow. If someone if constantly rude to you and you never assert yourself, you are teaching them it's ok to be rude to you. It took me a long time to figure this one out! Good luck!

Most men have always treated me with respect because I act right. Some women provoke men and that just makes them worse, although they shouldn't be mistreated. Some women take a personal pride in instigating a man, and some men are just flat out mean, just as women can be. A guy hit me once and chipped a tooth for no good reason--I took the thing to court and THAT WORKED.

If you want to be treated in a certain way, until we all have mind reading capability, search for people who identify with your life's pain and passion. That being said, you will not find very many and in many cases never will. Best bet then is to communicate, to find that person who will accept your communication and allows it. Other than that, learn to love your misery.

It's all a matter of choice. If a woman chooses to remain with a partner who is domineering, or belittling, or physically abusive, or extremely jealous, then yes, she has laid out the welcome mat for this kind of treatment.
Some women seem to exhibit a perversity for this type of man. Perhaps they find his type exciting, but why then complain about bad treatment?
I recently viewed (with absolute amazement) a documentary on the Criminal Investigation channel called "Women Who Love Killers", and it was an eye-opener. For example, why in heaven's name did a woman fall desperately in love with the Night Stalker (Richard Ramirez, a convicted serial killer on death row) and marry him? And why has Charles Manson received hundreds of marriage proposals?
It would appear that for every type of sadist there is a willing masochist.

I have found in my life that many women seek those guys (exciting?????).I even had a very beautiful woman tell me that was who she wanted because nice guys were boring.?????
