I misplaced my book with my windows xp certification code on it, and I was wondering if I could find it on my computer.

If you right click on "My Computer" and select "Properties" from the drop down menu, you should see the registration code listed just beneath the "Registered User".

yes it is located in the registry but after windows 2000 microsoft encrypted it so you will need a program to get it.
