All coins are basically cylindrical. This makes them 3-dimensional. But I'm sure that one could call them prisms.

monetary prisms? even spelled right it doesn't compute? do you mean a prism a solid having bases or ends that are parallel, congruent polygons and sides that are parallelograms, in which case I'd say no.

I DO NT KNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I thought of prisms more in the way of light refraction.The optician said about putting a prism in the lens of my friends glasses when he had double vision . may be I am wrong
