Sitting back and slandering..is doing nothing..they need to vote to make changes yet they talk of impeachment..lie about alliances..have a jolly good time when our troops are in harm's way.

dissent has to come from rational argument..not hyperbole

tough boys explain away suicide bomber payments and anthrax..
make excuses with intellectual laziness of dismissal..get good reliable sources from left's own bastions..and they say Rove and Bush are behind things.

I sometimes find myself wondering the same thing. I mean let's be blunt and honest for a moment. Surely they can't WANT us to lose this war right? Surely they don't want our military members' sacrifices to be for naught. I mean, they're American right? And, as such, want America to succeed and be safe, right? I certainly hope so!

Perhaps they just don't understand what's truly at stake. We know they don't like to read the reports about why we should GO to war, how can we honestly expect them to research why we shouldn't LEAVE war.

No, here's what I think happened: I think they voted for war at the time based on what they thought was the popular thing to do. Remember that prior to the beginning of the war there was A LOT of support for it. Then, as the war waged on, the MSM started participating in their favorite pastime of attacking Bush, leaking classified information (wiretapping terrorists phones, tracking terrorist money etc) and demoralizing our troops. Holding a degree in psychology I can tell you that if you hear something enough, sooner or later you'll start to believe it. Now, 4 years later, the media has accomplished its goals and a lot of the public is against this war. And, in keeping in step with the DNC creed, the Dem politicians are calling for withdraw based on what people want to hear, not what's best for our country.

It's a sad, sad world.

Republican = Democrat Democrat = Socialist Liberal = average Republican & all Democrats there is not any distinction between the two events. Doubt this? look on the data and historic previous. The Repubs completely supported the Democrat's bailout initiatives which in essence socialized our financial device. FDR could be proud.

Well, you said it yourself... these are Bush's words.... He does not determine who are enemies are, both the legislative and executive share this determination... Given that the legislation is comprised of a majority of Dems then I would say that NO they are not in the terror network that you and Bush (although I seriously doubt that Bush agrees with you) are calling a network.

Please drop the 11 year old antics of Dems being terrorists... its really dumb.
