What are the stars meant for on Yahoo? Do you get extra points? Could I have one please? x x

There's your star, but it doesn't really mean anything. It means that I've put it in a list on my home page, for quick reference because I think it is a good question of interest.
No, you don't get any more points. People just appreciate that people think that their questions are either thought provoking to you or that you just liked it and thought it was worth asking. Hope you get lots of stars.

You can have a star Hun,
It only means someone has found your question interesting or funny, like when you are little and teacher gives you a star on your work. You don't get extra points.
You can look to see who has starred you, if you look I will be there x

If you get 1000 stars the sun comes out.The star goes next to your question to show others that they found your question or joke to be good and worth looking at.

A Star indicates that your question is interesting....

if someone gives you a star, it means they have found your question interesting and believe others would find it interesting as well.

The more stars your questions accumulate - the more exposure your question will get.
