Not only would it not be good in America, it is not really good in Mexico either.
There is a significant risk of bacterial contamination of any vegetables grown using this fertilize. There have been massive recalls of some vegetables due to this type of contamination. In these cases, human feces was not being used as fertilize, but the risk would certainly be much greater.

YOU ARE ABOUT 60 YEARS BEHIND !!!! I have a home in Mexico ( as well as north of Houston, Texas), I have traveled in/ through 11 of the 28 states of Mexico. Other than in some of the extremely remote areas,( yes Mexico does still have some VERY remote areas) this practice has ceased to exist.
The Mexican Government and their news media has, for a long time, promoted BELLA SALUD ( Beautifull Health) commercials. The Mexican Government, Army, States & Federal Health Agencies are working to eliminate this practice, where ever and when ever found.
This is not to say that all of Mexico is as sanitary, clean, and healthy, as we Americans are accustomed to, here. But for the most part, these conditions practices have been eliminated.
However, there are DOZENS OF OTHER COUNTRIES, (we have some of our military personnel in some the them) which are very accustomed to this practice, even today!

I work for a water company, and fecal matter that shows up in water is called e-coli. If you have read anything at all in the papers, you will realize that e-coli is deadly. The spinach scare last year from the Salinas valley was leeching of some type of cow manure which caused the bacteria - e. coli. So, your answer is definitely not!

No fecal matter from humans or animals that eat meat should be used as fertilizer for edible plants. Bacteria is the reason.
