It depends on the situation. It also depends where you live. If it floods a little and its not intense than no. If it floods alot than yes or if theres a storm like a hurricane or tornado. It also matters if the school thinks you would be able to go home and go to school and the weather doesnt interfere with your learning process.

no. back when i was in grade school the river flooded and got to within 1 block of the school before they canceled it.

Rain showers are usually here one minute, gone the next. If your school was underwater then yeah, but otherwise, pack your books and lunch.
