Isn't BK an American Company?

Are you suggesting that "American" companies must source all the products they use for their business from America?

America is founded on good business sense, not blind stupidity! BK in Japan is using NZ beef because that's where they can get the best price for the particular quality of product they need.

The whole notion that it is somehow "patriotic" for Americans to only buy American is both misguided & foolhardy. Good American consumers buy the product they want at the price they wish to pay, THAT is what drives the American economy. The decline of American industry is the fault of greedy & lazy workers, not of the Corporations that employ them!

I guarantee you I know more about potting soil than you do: does that give me ANY right to restrict where you buy your next bag? Or should you continue to enjoy the freedom you currently enjoy to make that choice yourself?

Isn't the same reason why US McDonald's purchasing Australian beef instead of US beef? Did you know this fact?
Because of BSE issue. Their testing system doesn't trace all the cows. And they are refusing 100% inspection for beef before exporting even now.
