IT DOESNT MATTER IF YOU THINK PRO WRESTLING IS REAL!
We all know that it is scripted entertainment...so why all the big fuss, huh?
Different people, different tastes my friends. It's not the end of the world if someone loves it or hates it. Who agrees?

I whole-heartedly agree. Why should we be badgered about our taste in entertainment. Do you see us badgering everyone else who doesn't like wrestling.

Yeah, pro wrestling is scripted, but many things are real. Many wrestlers have gotten injured over the years. Some were minor. Like what happened to Deuce on Smackdown a couple of weeks ago. He suffered a broken nose because he was tripped up and came crashing down. And there are major injuries, which are mostly because a wrestler did something wrong, like at Armaggedon '06, Joey Mercury's nose was shattered and had to get over 20 stitches inside and out of his nose, and his eye was swollen shut. This was because he didn't move in time like he was supposed too. So bottom line is that the pro wrestling companies script this to prevent real injuries. If they just let wrestlers go out and fight, there wouldn't be a roster, but you can't call it fake.

Watching wrestling is like watching a movie. You know it isn't real but it is ENTERTAINMENT!!! It is fun to watch because of the exciting storylines and angles. And the matches are amazing. By the way, I'm describing TNA Wrestling right now not the WWE. But too many wrestling fans look into it way too deeply. I mean when they don't like a certain storyline then they say "Why would they do that?". Don't worry about whether it is fake or real. Just sit down and enjoy the show!!! If you don't like don't watch.

I saw a match on TV once where the bad guy was jumping from the ropes onto the neck of the good guy, he was going to be landing with his knee right on the good guy's larynx. This would be FATAL. However the bad buy landed wrong and sprained his ankle, he needed medical attention right there in the ring, right on TV. Absurd. Fun but absurd.

Of course it's scripted but up to a certain point. It's not like a movie, if you screw up in a wrestling match, no one will say cut let's do another take.

the feuds are just storylines made by WWE...the moves are choreographed for safety, but you can't avoid accidents and that's what some of the fans are looking for...like when hardcore holly has his entire back ripped...everyone knows its wrestling is not real, but you would always want to see something really hit and shout out, "Hey! That's for real!"...or maybe we can watch UFC if we want real matches

I'm convinced that wrestlers hit the mat , when they get suplexed, body slammed,dropped kicked, or miss a splash from the top turn buckle. Or hit the floor when a wrestler gets thrown over the rope.
