as long as your motherboard will take the card, it shouldnt be a problem..

granted.. you'll probably be running the game at a lower resolution with a lot of the eye candy turned down or off.. but it should run fine

You need to make sure the card fits physically. The three most common modern interfaces are PCI, PCIe x16, and AGP. Find out which interface your computer has, and buy the appropriate card. AGP and PCIe x16 are preferred, but some Dells only have PCI slots. AGP slots are alwyas brown and PCI slots are always white or beige, but PCIe x16 slots are longer than the other two and vary in color.

without understanding greater approximately your pc it truly is impossible to assert what the excellent improve direction could be. A video card and photos card are in basic terms diverse names for the comparable factor. Getting one will improve the overall performance of photos on the pc yet no longer standard overall performance. in case you pc is commonly very sluggish, then it truly is totally probably you go with greater RAM. Getting greater RAM will probably grant a bigger advance than a photos card in spite of the incontrovertible fact that it truly is problematic to assert without understanding your present day pc specs.

128mb Ram on a graphics card isnt much good anymore. The gaming programs require so much out of a graphics board you should get at a minimum 256mb video for gaming, 512mb preferred.

Whether your motherboard has a PCI-E or PCI slot will determine what graphics card you can get, if you have a PCI one your in trouble and if its AGP you seriously need to upgrade your motherboard but if it has a PCI-E slot you can get higher specs graphics cards. I wouldn't recommend that graphics card its very old and hasn't a lot of graphical memory.
