Only very few answers did answer your question , most of the answers are talking about how we - the Arabs - became the enemies of Israel , but not why in the first place did the Jews take the phaletiniens country and make it their own country , I think the only reason for that is because we were and still we are very weak countries , we cannot protect ourselves so we are an easy goal for others , they can do whatever they want to us and find a way to justify why they are right and why we deserve what happened to us , trust me if the Jews did that to a european country you would have found their answers completely different , only strong people can defend their countries , we were not strong then so we couldn't , that's why we are still paying for that uptill now and we are not even working on improving ourselves .

How is it fair to talk about Arabs givivng parts of their land to the paletiniens instead of their country ? Can we do this with any European country for example and blame the rest of Europe for not giving them part of their land ? Would any other country in the world accept the settlers and try to live as neighbours with them ? why didn't the French or the Americans do so ?Only Muslims and Arabs are deprived of this right and called " Terrorists " when they try to defend their lands
We need to be strong before we ask for our rights , this is the only language that the world understands today

Honestly, the Palestinians are not. There are no gas chambers or systematic killing. Many people are shocked to hear the Jewish State collects sales taxes for the Palestinians. Sadly, the Palestinian people have traditionally received very little, due to corrupt Palestinian regimes. This has helped Hammas to move forward with the people, as radical states, Iran, Syria, and the former Saddam Hussein regime in Iraq, provided Hammas with funds to provide the Palestinians with a modicum of social services.

The Jewish-Palestinian relationship is far more complicated than the Nazi-Jewish relationship. I'm firmly convinced that it could be settled by level-headed, reasonable individuals on both sides--without the interference of the international community--Arab or Western.

Clearly you don't know your history.

The Palestinians suffer because when the British implemented partition in 1948, the surrounding Arab nations immediately declared war on Israel and called their Muslim brothers out so they could return and purge the area of 'infidels'. 68 per cent of Muslims left without EVER even seeing an Israeli.

Then Israel's Arab neighbours simultaneously attacked. Of course Israel kept some of the land she got during this war; you can't deny she was entitled to create secure borders, because it would be irrational for you to propose this. No nation on the planet would give land back to countries that were trying to destroy it!

You also seem to conveniently forget that there has been a continuous Jewish presence in the land for over three thousand years. I agree that the Palestinians need their own state, but first they have to recognize the right of Israel to exist. That's all Israelis have ever wanted.

And remember that until 1967 - some two decades after Israel was created - there was no such thing as the 'Palestinian people' as we know them today. They called themselves, and were called by others, 'Arabs' and were not a distinct group. So ask yourself why it is that no Arab country has absorbed or helped the Palestinians. Egypt mined the borders of Gaza when she controlled it, so the Palestinians could not leave. And Jordan admitted a quota of Palestinians but then kept them in terrible refugee camps.

The Israelies are defending their selves from the hatred of the Arabic world. The Arabic world could if it chose to improve the quality of life for the Palestinians ,but instead chose to use them as pawns to prod the Jewish state.People view them selves as ever right and never wrong from both sides of that issue. It has been put forward that the Palestinians have their own state , but the Arab leaders in the region just want the Israelis "off their land" no peace but defeat.Even if the Israelis left there would be conflict for con troll of the region as is evident from the recent war between Fatah and hammas.Peace is attainable and co-existence could be achieved but one side will not have any thing but the whole of it .so being Anti-Semitic and anti -Islamic is at the heart of the issue.Left to their own devices the children of both sides would play harmoniously together if it were not for the hatred instilled by the "adults"people never learn do they.......

The palestinians are suffering because they have retarded 'leaders' and they collectively and individually make bad decisions. They also suffer because they have a culture that's at odds with the real world. The 'Jews' had zero to do with the goofy social and political practices of Egypt....a country that's run by a totally corrupt and incompetent thugocracy...the same as Saudi Arabia and just about every single 'muslim' country on the face of the earth. Oddly, probably one of the best countries in the world to be an arab is Israel. Blaming the 'Jews' for the misery of the palestinians is nonsense....if you don't like 'Jews', just say so.

Read your history there were Palestinian leaders working with the Nazis to expand the final solution to the Middle East so why should they not pay for their siding with the enemy.

It has more to do with the war the Palestinians started against the Jews and lost. Should have tried to be better neighbors? Why don't the other Arab states step up and give the Palestinians some land, or at least help? And why didn't the US just give up one of those big western states for a Jewish state? Why can't we all just get along??

The Palestinians are suffering for what their Arab brethren have done to them.

All would have been fine if the Arabs hadn't gone to a constant state of war with the Israelis. They lost much more than they could have gained. The Arabs have been egging the Pals on, ever since.

Don't you think, if the Arabs REALLY cared about the Pals, they would support them in other ways than with arms and bombs? Why not support them with food, technology, business aid, or something useful?

Good example of the victim becoming the oppressor. First three quarters of a million Palestinians were REMOVED from their land to form Israel in 1948. After the Israel initiated war of 1967 more territory became Occupied in the West Bank, Gaza and the Golan Heights of Syria and with each decade since more and more Israeli settlements have been built and historic Arab East Jerusalem has been annexed. (Refer to map)
Israel now talks of itself as the victim and justifies the military occupation of the Palestinians as being essential for stopping terrorism, in spite of the fact that its true purpose is to continue the colonization of Palestinian land. The latest land grab involves the Israeli building of a "security" wall which is expropriating even more land.
As has been the case for decades the ratio of deaths during the second intifada has been mostly Palestinian by a 4-1 ratio.

"Is it an irresponsible overstatement to associate the treatment of Palestinians with this criminalized Nazi record of collective atrocity? I think not. The recent developments in Gaza are especially disturbing because they express so vividly a deliberate intention on the part of Israel and its allies to subject an entire human community to life-endangering conditions of utmost cruelty. The suggestion that this pattern of conduct is a holocaust-in-the-making represents a rather desperate appeal to the governments of the world and to international public opinion to act urgently to prevent these current genocidal tendencies from culminating in a collective tragedy. If ever the ethos of 'a responsibility to protect,' recently adopted by the UN Security Council as the basis of 'humanitarian intervention' is applicable, it would be to act now to start protecting the people of Gaza from further pain and suffering. But it would be unrealistic to expect the UN to do anything in the face of this crisis, given the pattern of US support for Israel and taking into account the extent to which European governments have lent their weight to recent illicit efforts to crush Hamas as a Palestinian political force." (Richard Falk-author of Israel-Palestine on Record: How the New York Times Misreports Conflict in the Middle East.)

keep in mind that the nation of Israel was carved out of british controlled Jordan and the UN placed the rufugees there. Ever since then they have had war declared on them from day one. Its not just one sided like some people make it seem.
