What is your experience with Aquarian men?

I'm an Aquarian and my personal experience with Aquarian men has not been so good. The few that I've dated were liars, deceptive, and secretive---everything that most Aquarian women are not. HOWEVER, I know for a fact that I just had a run in with the rotten apples of the bunch. My stepdad is Aquarius and he's been with my mom (a Cancer) for over 10 years. I know for a fact that he's faithful because when he's not at work, he's with her. He's very supportive and actually very affectionate towards her too, unlike the ones I've dated. They're now married and after 10 years of being together they still act like they did when they first started dating. Slapping each other on the butt and kissing all the time. *Gag*lol. Plus, he treats me no different that his biological daughter even though he's white and I'm black and I love him just as much as my blood father. So I guess the point I'm trying to make is that when you find a good Aquarian man, you'll have a Prince Charming. If you come across one that's extremely secretive and constantly lying, RUN!!! Our sign pretty much gets along with everyone as long as they respect our sometimes weird and eccentric tastes and ways. Scorpios are a little hard for us to handle though because of their blunt words with no consideration for other's feelings. Cancers are supposed to be the least compatible for Aquarians and that has been the case for me but look at my mom and stepfather. Compatability might be a little different for Aquarian women and men. I don't get along with Cancers too well, besides my mom but every Aquarian guy that I know does so go figure..lol. totally devastating. they are bombastic even when they put on their sweet facade. if you are a sensitive person, who doesn't see life as an opportunistic game, I would suggest you stay away. But it's difficult because they can be such fun and bring an air of novelty. Nevertheless, deep down they are very conservative. Endlessly they vaccilate between being a conformist or a revolutionary. they have deep issues concerning 'feelings' of which they are afraid like the plague. As friends, perfect. As mates, you will come to realize that there is something they keep to themselves even after a lot of intimacy has been achieved. Can bring unexpected things to the relationship. very nervous, suddenly, then they cool off.
I don't know which signs should stay away from them, but aquarians better stick with their own group like leos, scorpios and (maybe taurus) capricorns who are as ''matter-of-fact'' as they are. could be a very cold experience in the long run. usually demand sentiments from others but they don't exhibit them themselves, so they can be emotionally draining. otherwise, if you don't take them too seriously, it's all fine and ok and enjoy yourself.

First of all, you have to give them their space and freedom. If you cling too tightly, they will run away. And they don't like being emotional, so you have to find other ways to connect and see the ways he'll show you he cares. For one, a pretty face will only get an Aquarius man's attention for so long. You've got to have the intellect and conversational skills to back it up. If he finds you boring, stuffy, or uninformed, he's gone. He won't go into a mushy longwinded tyrade on how he loves you. That's not his style. Instead, he'll do things for you to make you happier. More than anything Aquarius wants to be your friend and a good friend at that. If he's at the store, he'll pick you up something he'd think you'd like. If you've mentioned a movie that you wanted to see with him, he'll drive (seriously) to three places just to find it. And if something of yours is broken, he'll do all he can to fix it! If he thinks you're a great companion and friend, he'll ask for your advice on situations and show you that he really values your opinion. It's hard pinning an Aquarius man down, and for a while, you'll feel like he doesn't care or doesn't want you in his life. But when he does care and does want you in his life, he'll make sure he calls often and sees you often. Aquarius men can be wonderful people to have around you, but it does take a while to get their attention. They are going to do what they want to do.
