There are products that have ties to racism, such as Maxwell House coffee and the KKK. But have there been actual product, packaging and all that put out a racist message (maybe items from the slavery days or from WWII Germany)?

The Abercrombie shirts weren't racist on purpose, depending on who you ask. They kinda followed the shirts that made fun of certain US states, which were also made by the Abercrombie Co. The West Virginia shirt had printed on it, "It's all relative in West Virginia", which angered its citizens. Back to the asian shirts, they did play off asian stereotypes. Im not sure if it was only shirts about asians.

Wow, I know there are some items we have like Aunt Jemima and Uncle Bens. Im not sure if they have been remade or toned down, but the Darkie toothpaste is straight-up racist on so many levels. I just saw the packaging on its Wikipedia article...

Yes. In Hong Kong the Darkie brand was very famous and made toothpaste and other products (the picture was of a sambo step-and-fetch-it character with big white teeth). It was racist. The Cubans have Negrita biscuits (big picture of a black woman) and the British had Gollywogs on their jam jars for years.

I watched a documentary about history of tea, when it became so popluar people were made to work in the huge fields as slaves. When conditions of the slaves ,were heard of.They decided to hush the rumors with pretty white ladies on the front.so it would bring a more respectable image to the custumers who bought it. I may be mistaken, but I believe it was Lipton Tea . Cream of Wheat had blacks in their ads!Sad!

ABERCROMBIE NEVER HAD RACIST TEESHIRTS

They were just criticised for NOT hiring enough minorities. Which minorities rarely even shop there in the frst place.

MR.POPO was considered racist, because of his dark skin and red large lips.
