After focusing on the Live Earth event and the chronic food and drug scandals involving Chinese products, I am now boycotting them. With muslim goods and services, I am boycotting because of terrorism and anti-semitism. Am I right ot wrong?

Just thinking about responses: I think my life will be fine. I walk a lot. I drink wine, eat European cheeses, buy European designed stuff, or good American (made in America).

You are very VERY wrong to boycott Muslim goods. There are many peaceful muslim nations - what has Bangladesh ever done to you? Or Indonesia? Do you try to stop Christian extremists? Do you hunt down or at the very least denounce abortion clinic bombers? If not then why should ALL muslims be responsible for the terrorists?

And if you're boycotting 'muslim' goods then you can start by anything made of oil. Just about all plastics, much electricity, glues, detergents, rubber - all of these are made from oil, and most oil comes from Islamic countries.

Its all the MEDIA!

The Western Media has caused the west to believe in their point of view, and only giving one side of the story blinds the people viewing: that is almost everybody. The Media has forced its viewers to believe that Islam is a violent, bloody, intolerant religion, but in reality this is actually the opposite. If people would stop accepting their television sets as their teachers, more people would know the actual truth about Islam. The Media reports misleading stories, gross exaggerations, inaccurate information, and false statements about Islams and Muslims to undermine the religion, and unfortunately, this propaganda is a success--many many Americans believe everything they hear on the news or read in the newspaper. What they fail to realize is that what they read/hear is only one point of view of a bias Media that has been criticizing Muslims with false information vigorously since 9/11.

Terrorism is CONDEMNED in Islam; it is not allowed. Neither is innocent murder, or forced conversions. These are all misleading fabrications composed by the Media. You can't always believe what you hear.

Terrorists are not true Muslims; they use Islam as a mask to cover up their dirty work, and give Islam a bad name. It is not fair for the majority of Muslims, who oppose terrorism and denounce violence that is occurring. Unfortunately, the Media will never let this be known, making it look like Muslims support these radical actions, when in reality they absolutely do not.

Please refer to the following video. It is very true, and will provide valuable insight; I strongly recommend watching it:

Boycotting goods is a peaceful way to protest a wrong action, but only effective if you can get a large group to boycott with you. I disagree with your boycotting of muslim goods. The terrorists are mostly supported by the large oil companies, not the individual muslim small businesses. I'd love to join you in a boycott of oil companies, but my air powered car is still too expensive to buy. (Its been invented, but I can't get one yet.) Avoiding Chinese products may be better for your health.

You will certainly save money. How can you buy anything now ? ALL products with the old American trade marks and names are now made with slave labor in China, so that the fat cats can make higher profits. You will have a very austere life, unless you own allot of US stocks.

I think this is a beginning of a "made in America" revival!!! You should do what you believe is right. I avoid Chinese goods because I don't like their government. They also just passed the USA in terms of overall pollution. I don't even know of any Muslim goods or services where I live.

Stop shopping at "Walmart" is the easiest way to do that .
