see that, all of you people who used to make nice livings working in factories and now barely scrape by working at walmart - see.

the republicans will repeat lies so often or distort the facts that they hope that they eventually become accepted as fact.

what is missing here, of course, is any comparison data - whereby we could actually see if those in the middle class are indeed shrinking in financial clout.

no.

the republicans just put out numbers that they hope will sort of make their point, and then scream about liberals, dems and indes (their real point in the first place).

i don't trust republicans any longer and will never vote for one again - they are not to be trusted with public office any longer.

Okay, now from that figure, subtract:

total credit card balance
taxes
mortgage
2.5 vehicle payment
record high cost of fuel to drive those 2.5 SUVs
Insurance
Any student loans
monthly bills
groceries
etc
etc
etc

If people would learn to live within their means, they would be okay. But, they're too busy keeping up with the neighbors.

How many people out there, if they lost their job right now, would be able to maintain their quality of living?

The middle class is mostly an illusion

Let the thumbs down roll.....

there you go again, repeating stuff you find without really knowing anything about it. this tells us nothing about whether the middle class is shrinking or growing. yet you tout it as a big democrat lie. who's lying here? who's distorting facts to further their own point of view? if you guessed you, than your right! congratulations

i think you're trying too hard

I went to the chart to see what the numbers meant...there is the current number of household in that bracket and the second number is the margin of error. There is no secondary set of values to compare to.

Democrats, or more accurately liberals nearly always lie, this is nothing new. They purposely misstate data in their favor. They delete any information which tends to disprove their case. They distort facts to fit whatever point they happen to be bolstering even if they had previously stated facts in complete contradiction.

Those figures are meaningless by themselves. So why do neocons manage to screw up so many wet dreams?

It's not that they lie, they just hear something and roll with it. They are more guilty of not verifying facts.
