First you have to find the right people. Being in a band is similar to being in a marriage - with several other people. And once you learn to deal with everybody else's insanity and bad habits you can spend 10 years in obscurity until you become an "overnight sensation". If you really want it, you have to be talented, prepared, dedicated, disciplined, and have the perserverence of a lunatic. Then you might just get lucky. Good luck - see you at the top.

The process of finding their talent. It starts with a strong drive to make the best music they can for others to enjoy. Everything else is a bonus.

You must get a fan base. When you are in demand for recordings and concerts, the agents, recording companies, TV will seek you out. Use the internet. It has worked before. ps Can you play?

Example: Red Hot Chili Peppers.
They started out just a gararge band, they then got gigs in local bars, clubs and pubs. This is how they got recognised. And from there.... well........ FAME AND GLORY and..... ALL THE RICHES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! = D
