Absolutely not.
A holiday that falls on a weekday is the same as a weekday in the entire cell phone industry. I worked for VZ and so many people were upset when over on minutes for a day such as Thanksgiving Day. It is a holiday but a traditional Thursday.
Whom ever said this to you is wrong. And do not believe the statement. I am here to save you $$$$$$$$4 and if you do not believe me call Vz. and get the straight answer.
Give me a Ba please

Talking on holidays is not free. You still have all of the other benefits though, free in-calling (Verizon to Verizon), nights and weekends, no roam in the U.S. and long distance in the U.S.
