And I mean a bit thougt through answers no "the world will end" or satan will fight christ thingies. I'm guessing that in 2030 with all the baby boomers retiring the western world will be filled with retirees so there's a sector for your buck today lol. And with any luck we'll have switched to reneweable energy sources, though water and oil will be an issue. What about you?

By the way I am of arab descent trust me we would never want to go back to the 1300's but I think we all need to rethink our living style. Did you know that there is actually 6 times the food necessary to feed every single person in the planet. Makes you wonder about bad habits.

Hmm.. I'll be 41 & I doubt much will have changed.

As far as technology goes, I think we will be a little more advanced but nowhere near establishing colonies in space or on other planets (they predicted we would by the year 2000 a few decades ago).

With politics & just society in general, people will be much more open-minded. Just look around at how open gays & lesbians are becoming & how accepting the younger generations are. With that, I think it will help the advancement of medicine with testing on human embryos more accepting, thus allowing more diseases & illnesses to be cured. Of course, by this time we would have more insight into the human body.

Sadly, I also think by that time, OUR children will be more materialistic than ever & care even less about going hiking, camping, etc that they don't consider cool.

Oh, & The U.S. will probably have two official languages: English & Spanish.

I hope I don't see 2030 I don't predict a bright future for the world.
If liberals continue to strangle America, America will no longer exists as a beacon to the world. It will fall to 3rd world status. Broke and hungry.

We'll be driving electric cars though with the latest publicity stunt by gore III.

Oil and water will always be an issue as long as we are industrious. If we go back to the culture of the 1300's like those following islam want us to go then oil and water will not be an issue.

For me the world will end long before 2030. Few people will even remember that I existed, and all that will remind them of me will be my name on a tombstone, if I'm lucky.

Since we are not guaranteed another day, let alone years, I just try to live one day at a time and let God take care of whatever is in the future.
